Beneath the Surface

Every run is a puzzle of cards, creatures, and consequences. Here's what you're actually playing.

Momentum

Chain attacks of the same element to build Momentum — a stacking buff that turns a steady opening into a finishing blow. Smart sequencing matters more than raw damage.

Mark

Most creatures can Mark an enemy, exposing a weakness for the rest of your team to exploit. Plan two turns ahead: who marks, and who cashes in.

The Triangle

Fire beats Nature. Nature beats Water. Water beats Fire. Stone breaks the loop — slower, sturdier, and dangerous when the triangle stops mattering.

Three Stages of Evolution

Every creature has three forms with distinct cards. Evolution isn't a stat bump — it's a redesign. A creature you knew at Stage I will play like a different beast at Stage III.

Shiny Variants

Rare alternate-art versions of every creature, hatched from the same eggs. Cosmetic only — no power, no pay-to-win — but very hard to find, and very, very satisfying.

Procedural Climbs

Every zone is a fresh branching map: battles, elites, shops, mystery events, and a boss waiting at the summit. Two runs are never the same.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

I built Creature Clash because I wanted a monster collector where every battle was a real decision — not stat-stick combat, not autoplay grinding. The cards force you to think. The roguelite structure makes every choice count. The "no pay-to-win" rule isn't marketing — it's the load-bearing wall of the design.

Daily Proving Grounds

A new curated run every 24 hours — same seed for every Trainer, same starting hand. Compare your line against the community and see who actually solved the puzzle.

World Boss

A massive seasonal threat with a shared health pool. Every Trainer chips in. Leaderboards track top damage, fastest kills, and most elegant solutions.

Voiced Narration

The Chronicler walks beside you. Story beats, lore fragments, and zone arrivals are fully voiced — earphones recommended.
